2015

Die letzten zwei Wochen war ich nur im Weihnachtschilli-Modus und in Sylvester Laune, so dass ich nicht wirklich Zeit für einen neuen Post hatte. Ich war zu Hause bei meinen lieben und habe diese Zeit mehr als genossen <3 Nun ist es bereits 2015, an dieser Stelle Happy New Year an alle! :)

Jetzt bin ich wieder in Polen, um mein Auslandssemster zu beenden. Ich freu mich schon wieder auf zu Hause, aber ich werde die Zeit hier noch mal richtig genießen. Vor allem die tollen Cafés hihi.

five tips to make yourself feel at home everywhere

Als ich in unserer neuen Wohnung ankam war alles fremd und nicht wirklich gemütlich. Ich fühlte mich nicht so wohl und etwas verloren. In meinem Zimmer gab es eine Schlafcouch und einen Kleiderschrank. That's it… Nach einer kleinen Umräumaktion kam ein kleiner Abstelltisch, quasi als Regel, plus zwei Stühle dazu. So richtig toll sah das Zimmer nicht aus. So weit weg von zu Hause ist es wichtig, sich etwas gemütlich einzurichten. 

Hier meine 5 Tipps um es sich im Ausland etwas heimeliger zu machen :) 

• Kerzen: Ich liebe Kerzen einfach. Sie beruhigen mich so schön und duften angenehm. 
• Fotowand: Ein paar Fotos der liebsten an der Wand zu haben gibt ein Gefühl von Heimat und ich freue mich jedes mal extrem wenn ich sie sehe. 
• Care package: Es ist fast wie Weihnachten und Geburtstag zusammen ein Päckchen aus der Heimat zu bekommen :) Eure Lieben sollen euch also fleißig Briefe und Päckchen senden. 
• Pflänzchen: Sieht gleich viel wohnlicher aus. Auch wenn es nur ein Basilikum- oder Minzepflänzchen ist ;)
• Deko: Ich mag es Dinge zu sammeln, z. B. eine interessante Flasche als Vase oder Kerzenhalter umzufunktionieren. Muscheln, Blätter, Steine etc. können eine hübsche kostenlose Dekoration werden. 

Diverses: In der kalter Jahreszeit: Tee und Kuscheldecke. In der warmer Jahreszeit: selbstgemachte Limonade und Eis. Immer gut: gechillte Kleidung zum entspannen.

English version: The first days in our new flat were more weird than cozy. 

 I felt weird and lost somehow. A couch and a closet were the only things in my room. I added a table and two chairs but it still looked empty. For me it's very important to make myself feel at home everywhere in the world. 

Here are my 5 tips to make your flat abroad more homelike 

• Candles: Basically I love candles. They calm myself down and smell very good.
• Picturewall: It's nice to pin some pictures of family and friends on the wall. Every time I see these pictures I'm happy. 
• Care package: It's like christmas and birthday at the same time, when you receive a package from home. 
• Plants: You'll notice the difference immediately. It's much more cozy when there are plants in your flat, even if they're only a basil or mint plant ;) 
• Decoration: I like to collect things. For Example interesting bottles, which can be used as a vase or candlestick. Shells, leaves, stones and other things from nature can be a nice decoration plus they're for free. 

Different stuff - In the cold seasons: tea and blankie. In the warm seasons: selfmade lemonade and ice-cream. Every time: comfy clothes to chill out and relax.
